What is a Bed in a Bag?

From the sound of it one could vision a truck backing up and unloading a large box with your bed in kit form complete with instructions and ready for you to assemble! Hum…or possibly something as simple as a sleeping bag?

Nothing could be further from the truth.

A bed in a bag does not include your mattress and box springs. Bed in a bag is a term used to describe an easy way to shop for bedding. The purchase of a bed in a bag can change the look and feel of your existing bed, whatever size it may be.

Simple 8 piece bed in a bag sets usually consists of a sheet set (flat sheet, fitted sheet and pillow cases), a comforter and a duvet cover. Think of a duvet cover as a “pillow case” for your comforter. A luxury bed in a bag is high quality Egyptian cotton of at least 300 thread count. Egyptian cotton is a fine, lustrous, long staple cotton grown in Egypt. Long staple cottons are more expensive than the common available cottons, because they are synonymous with quality and can have high thread count. A luxury bed in a bag may also include some more accessories, pillows, pillow shams etc 12 to 19 pieces is not uncommon . Packaging the items together “in a bag” brings the cost down as opposed to buying each item separately.

Hey if you are going to spend one third of your life asleep, why not sleep on luxury sheets. Pamper yourself with a luxury bed in a bag. Solids, stripes, floral or other prints the choice is up to you. Since most bed in a bags include a comforter this is an easy way to style your bed with a new look for the fall and winter seasons. Have fun make your bed (no pun intended) both beautiful and luxurious to sleep in.

Have You Tried Bamboo Sheets Yet?

Why Bamboo? Well first, did you know that bamboo sheets are actually temperature regulating? That right! Bamboo fabric naturally stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, making it the perfect choice for sheets. Second bamboo fabric is naturally antibacterial and allergen free... what more could a person really ask for? People worldwide are switching from cotton to luxury bamboo blended sheets and bedding.

As smooth as silk and as soft as cashmere, bamboo sheets will surprise you! Unbelievable? It may seem strange if you have not slept on bamboo sheets or tried other products of bamboo fabric, but when bamboo grass is spun into fabric is quite literally is like a blend of silk and cashmere. When Bamboo fibers are blended with Egyptian cotton the result is heavenly.

Bamboo fibers are as soft as silk and naturally breathable, and are an eco-friendly fiber. It doesn’t pill, so the silky softness lasts and lasts. You will love sleeping on this fabulous bedding. There are new blended creations in a class above the rest. While many of us are used to Egyptian cotton sheets, this new blend creates a meeting point between new and old, softness and luxury.

But wait! Bamboo sheets aren't just heavenly to sleep on -- they're also environmentally conscious! An important factor in making any decision, bamboo sheets are made from one of the world's fastest growing, greenest, most renewable resource -- bamboo! Did you know that bamboo plants could grow up to a foot per day! There is really no worry about deforestation. Here is another great factor: Bamboo can grow so densely; a bamboo forest has around 40% more biomass than a regular hardwood forest. So that is 40% more carbon-reducing power! As for herbicides and pesticides and other nasty chemicals, bamboo simply doesn't need them. This makes bamboo a naturally organic product -- unlike cotton.

Bamboo sheets are also the vegan/animal friendly choice for luxury... unlike cashmere or silk. This means you can sleep peacefully knowing no animals were harmed for you to sleep on your luxurious bamboo sheet set.

Once you try them…will you go back? Bamboo sheets are today's luxury bedding choice.
